Can design be an intersection of both art and science? Saya proves the answer is yes with a portfolio that reflects her hybrid education of design and mathematics. Her passion for pixel-perfect web design complements a working knowledge of programming–a skill no doubt enhanced by her math-oriented past. Look a little closer at her work and you’ll notice an impeccable attention to detail and strict adherence to the grid. These are the standards she brings to every project.

In addition to her well-rounded web knowledge, Saya draws upon her expertise in print design and hands-on production techniques, including screen printing and letter press. Her talents have been recognized at the National ADDY Awards where she earned two silver ADDYS for work produced at Studio Conover and Bailey Gardiner.

Outside of the office, Saya assists the Student Chapter of AIGA San Diego with event coordination. She’s also actively involved in the local art scene, working closely with San Diego-based Yeller Studio, a collective dedicated to the creation of accessible art and the promotion of local artists.

When she does find time to take a break from design, Saya cooks up amazing meals. And laughs at the things that fail to earn the respect of people with good taste.
